Na cidade de Salvador há inúmeras praias, muitas porém impróprias para o banho. Para quem quiser ir a praia sem se afastar muito da cidade, há as praias ao norte de Salvador, Pituba, Jardim de Alá, Piatã, Itapoã, Flamengo e Stella Maris. Depois segue a Estrada do Coco até a Praia do Forte.
