Costa do Sauípe

O primeiro complexo de resorts do Brasil fica a pouco mais de cem quilômetros de Salvador. Na Costa do Sauípe estão cinco hotéis gigantescos, com estrutura de primeira e praia deserta em frente. Cada um tem seu restaurante e sua piscina e, juntos, dividem uma estrutura de lazer com spa, centros náutico, de golfe, eqüestre e de tênis. Outro atrativo é o Parque Ecológico Sauípe, uma reserva de 66 hectares de Mata Atlântica para a prática de atividades como caminhada, cavalgada e ciclismo em meio a trilhas, além de tirolesa e caiaque.

No centro do empreendimento fica a Vila Nova da Praia, um centrinho comercial com fachadas inspiradas na arquitetura colonial baiana. Por lá, estão bares, cafés, restaurantes, lojinhas de artesanato e seis pousadas. Todas as noites, a praça da vila vira palco para apresentações e shows.

Quem não está hospedado no complexo pode passar o dia na vila e na praia salpicada de coqueiros, rochas na areia e ondas para surf - mas é preciso pagar uma taxa de permanência. Já para curtir as atividades dos resorts, paga-se à parte. No Centro Náutico há surf, caiaque, vela, pedalinho, water bike, tirolesa, passeio de barco e pesca. No Tennis Center dá para jogar tênis, paddle, squash, basquete, vôlei e futebol de salão. Aulas de equitação, cavalgadas nas dunas, na praia ou na mata, passeios de pônei ou charrete e ordenha de vacas podem ser feitos no Centro Eqüestre.
